jerrybruno.com After over three years of entertaining Cleveland area weddings and parties, Rick and Frank incorporated a new name for long-time friends who have joined forces, combining their talents in the music and entertainment fields to form a relationship that will bring the professional quality of service you expect for your guests. Rick began his on-air radio career in Cleveland at 92.3 where he was also the music director. From there he moved on to 98.5, ZIP-106, and WIXY-1260. He was an instructor at the WIXY School of Broadcast Technique. Rick also created his own comedy/joke writing service for radio and TV personalities with subscribers across the United States, Australia, and Barbados. Eventually, he sent samples of his workto Rodney Dangerfield, which started a long relationship until his passing in 2004. Rick has had material performed on the Tonight Show with Jay Leno and Johnny Carson, Saturday Night Live, The Byron Allen Show, and Rodneys Grammy award winning comedy album No Respect. Upon leaving soft rock station WMJC, Rick moved to Los Angeles to pursue other goals and interests. Once in LA, he landed an on-air job with KUTE-102 FM and began to audition for (and book) television commercials including: Tecate Beer, McDonalds, Goodyear Tires, ABC Fall Schedule promo, Grandys Restaurant, Bud Light, Chevrolet, as well as minor roles in movies and TV shows.
