We are a UK company based in Scotland who work in areas of Africa to provide simple sustainable water boilers to people in rural areas or anywhere where people use a fire to cook. The video shows a simple method to improve water and sanitation and also improving standard of living. Below is a brief description of the water boiler known as a Jompy. Brief Description The Jompy a water boiler which allows you to carry out two tasks at the same time over any fire whether a typical three stone fire, a jiko or a gas stove. This allows you to boil water at the same time as cooking drastically reducing fuel use by up to 60 % and also reduces time spent over a fire. Rapid heating is achieved with the Jompy taking only 10 seconds for the Jompy to reach temperatures of over 60 degrees. Every year over 1.5million children die due to diarrhoeal diseases which can be prevented by improved sanitation methods like boiling water and using soap for cleaning. Using the Jompy provides a simple method to heat water for improved cleanliness and prevents many water bourne diseases. Features * LIGHTWEIGHT AT ONLY 0.7KG * ROBUST WILL WITHSTAND AN AIRDROP OR EVEN DRIVEN OVER BY A VEHICLE AND EFFECTIVENESS REMAINS * EASY TO USE ONLY REQUIRES A SHORT PIECE OF HOSE PIPE AND A WATER SOURCE (hose pipe can be found in most slum areas) * 1 LITRE OF WATER EVERY 45-60 SECONDS * NO MAINTENANCE BENEFITS * EASY TO USE * FUEL CONSUMPTION DRASTICALLY REDUCED * TIME SPENT OVER FIRE REDUCED BY HALF REDUCING …

Study abroad programs seem to have the training down. They give classes and living arrangements, and of course the country where you want to study. It’s all there.

Your job seems to be even easier. Travel to the country and enjoy the language with little or no effort. When it is time to return home, you are liquid and ready to accept a promotion to be bilingual.

All right. It’s time to pinch yourself and wake up. This scenario will not work unless you are under five years and take in language as you do video games.

You have much more to do to make your dream come true. It is not difficult, but it is more active than silent.

The truth is that the majority of students who travel overseas to learn Spanish or other languages are left with little or no improvement. They have high expectations when they leave, but finds that taking a leap to the “next level” is not as simple as they thought.

And it’s not the program’s fault in most cases. Study abroad programs fulfill their responsibilities. They offer the students all they must be comfortable and engaged. They solve problems, guide and encourage.

The problem lies with you, the learner. You must be mentally prepared to enter a culture where one is not top dog, the big cheese, head of the pack. In most cases, you’re the little brother who tags with. You know it is always there but never have much to say.

Why waste all the money and time if that is the reality that awaits? No need. Here’s three suggestions for you to follow so you get exactly what you’re looking for.

Tip # 1 – Stay away from English-speaking. Nothing can hinder your progress like hanging out with other English speakers. Forget it, “Oh, but he is from England … I’ve never hung out with someone from England before.” Plan to hang out with someone from England, when you are floating. Not when you get there.

You need to meet and hang out with native speakers as soon as you arrive. If you wait for the right time will never come. Do the same. Find a speaking partner, go to bars and meet people, bring an English-speaking friend, if they are so pumped up to learn Spanish as you. but get out there and make some new friends.

Tip # 2 – Get used to eat humble pie. You may be the joke ester at home, but you’re a bench warmer in Spanish. Do not get down on yourself. It will not last forever. But learning is a process and this is another step.

Do not worry, you can not be the life of the party. Just be at the party for now and you’ll pick it up. It may take a month or two, but what is that compared to years of being a fluent speaker?

Tip # 3 – Keep studying. Why did you thinnk they call it “studying abroad”. Just because you are in Spain or Mexico does not mean you can let your studies behind. Keep conjugating, keep a register of cool phrases and words keep learning something new every day. The effect would be amazing.

I used to remember things I could not say and look them up later. So I’d write them down. You can do it your way. . . just do it.

If you follow these strategies, I promise you will get back floating and love it. It really is a pleasure to speak a foreign language, and you’ll know what I mean when you get there.

Just do not throw your money and time away because it’s really nice to hang with people from Alaska! Or New Zealand! Or else.

Study abroad may get you to fluency faster than anything so do it right. </ P>

Teaching abroad is a fantastic opportunity to explore the world, well-behaved pupils learn and earn a generous and often tax-free salary. But it is not all a bed of roses, there are some drawbacks. A major drawback is that being so far away from family, if something goes wrong. However, it should concern not stop you from moving your teaching career abroad. There are some things you can take to manage the distance. </ P>

the first and perhaps most importantly, you can control the distance by choosing where to work. By this I mean you should look at the cities where you can get to and from the direct flights are scheduled at least several days each week. You can use any Internet travel site to find this information, I usually use Expedia. com. With direct flights get you home faster and not have to worry about to make connecting flights. If you can not get a direct flight to the city where your family is located, make sure you can get a direct flight to a city in your home country which has regular flights to your hometown or final destination. </ P>

else you can look into the details of your teaching contract. Many international schools recognize that teachers working abroad may have to rush home when family members become ill, and build aircraft and / or time off in their employment contracts. </ P>

When hunting for a teaching job abroad, you can add this to the criteria you test teaching contracts to support your decision making. It’s not something you would ask up front at the interview, but when you are offered a teaching position you can request a copy of employment contract to investigate. </ P>

Thirdly, you can create an emergency fund. I’ve had an emergency fund since I began to travel and work abroad more than 12 years ago. My emergency fund has enough money in it to fly me home, wherever I’m at full fare flight and back again once the crisis has sent me home is resolved. The money is in a bank account that does not earn a lot of interest, but it is readily available, which is the whole reason for its existence. </ P>

In the 12 years I have been abroad I have never had to touch my emergency fund and I hope it stays that way, but it gives me great peace of mind knowing that if something were to happen that would cause me to rush home I do not have to worry about whether I can afford it, or how I pay my credit card later that the money are already there. </ P>

the money to come home with myself means that I have not been limited to only go home in the circumstances under which my employer To finance the trip. For example, the international school that I currently work only covers emergencies where immediate family, so problems with grandparents, cousins or best friends are not covered. However, most employers give you unpaid leave for emergency situations with more distant relatives, although they will not pay for flights. Financing your own aircraft is not a problem if you have planned ahead. </ P>

I know that having an emergency fund to get home also gave my parents peace of mind as well. They know that if something would happen to a member of our family, they can call me home without any stress on my finances. </ P>

With modern technology and transport, it is not difficult to keep in touch with loved ones at home, do not use it as an excuse to hold you back a teaching career abroad! </ P>

newly qualified teachers (NQTs) can prevent themselves from the beginning of their international teaching career as soon as they are qualified because they have to find misleading information on the Internet.

How does this happen? When NQTs search the Web for teaching jobs abroad, the company that hosts international teaching recruitment fairs usually show up on the first page of results. And yes, the first information they are exposed, contains the criteria for selecting candidates invited to participate in one of these recruitment fairs is that candidates have at least two years practical teaching experience.

These organizations pre-screen candidates for the international school recruiters. While this may save time for customers, it may deprive them of a number of exemplary candidates who have recently had their credentials NQTs.

NQTs are mistaken if they think their inexperience means they are not an attractive candidate for many international schools.

NQTs are attractive employment opportunities for many reasons: </ strong>

first </ Strong> NQTs are cheap, if a school operates a salary scale based on qualifications and years of teaching experience.

second </ Strong> NQTs have up-to-date teaching pedagogy and methodology which will bring a fresh perspective to the experienced teachers who are already employed by the school.

third </ Strong> in an educational environment that is using information technology more and more, NQTs bring groundbreaking techniques to take advantage of groundbreaking technology.

4th </ Strong> NQTs who apply for overseas teaching jobs are determined and passionate about teaching abroad. They must be to find positions in spite of the wealth of information that says they can not. Therefore, they are more likely to adapt quickly to the challenges of living in another country.

So how does an NQT find a job teaching abroad? </ Strong>

They do it by means of job-hunting strategies, bypass participant recruitment fairs. One of the best places to find teaching vacancies in international schools is TES Jobs website. While the website is linked to a newspaper in Britain, the # 1 resource for teachers of all nationalities who are looking for teaching jobs abroad.

TES Jobs website has vacancies listed that say “NQTs welcome.” Those are the schools that newly qualified teachers should use it in the first instance. But not only, as many international appointing authority should include a ‘wish list’ of skills and experience in their advertised vacancies, but often realize that they may end up employing someone with fewer qualifications.

How NQTs improve their CV? </ strong> < br />
There can be no argument that NQTs have two years of teaching experience … But they can ensure that their resume shines with additional skills and experience that will cause international school recruiters to overlook their lack of practical teaching experience. This may take a little time and effort on the part of the NQT, but the payoff will far out weigh the costs:

one. </ Strong> NQTs can get a TEFL qualification which can be done online or face to face with a TEFL teacher training provider. A TEFL course will provide the NQT with techniques and tactics to support second language learners that they will encounter in an international school. It can also count as experience with multilingual and multicultural students.

second </ Strong> NQTs can volunteer to spend time (or get a part-time positions) tutoring to students who have English as an additional language. A recommendation letter from the parents can prove that the NQT has sought opportunities to interact in multilingual situations and have had practice with the needs of a learner trying to learn a subject in a language they are familiar.

third </ Strong> NQTs can volunteer to coach or work as an assistant coach for a multi-cultural teams. The coach can then write a recommendation letter for showing the applicant’s willingness to engage in leisure activities and experience to handle in multi-cultural situations.

4th </ Strong> Complete a teaching practice in an international school is an excellent step in the right direction for an NQT, if the situation arises. Whether the international school is the local college to teach the NQT is involved or if the NQT is unable to travel abroad, one recommendation letter from the principal a prominent international school can not be beaten in value. To participate in an international school to complete a teaching practicum is not possible, then the candidate should consider making arrangements to visit one while on holiday abroad.

Teaching abroad are not just for the experienced teacher, there are plenty of vacancies suitable for NQTs. If you are not sure you will get a job teaching overseas then by all means, apply for domestic jobs at the same time … But do not cut yourself off from the opportunity to earn more money for less stress and just enjoy your first experience as a professional educator, just because you have received incorrect or incomplete information!
</ p>

</ p> Kelly Blackwell has taught abroad in over 10 years, began as a newly qualified teacher himself. She has refined a number of successful job search strategies over the years that the exploitation of resources, to circumvent the international teaching recruitment fairs. NQT or not, ensure you a teaching job abroad with his proven strategies. </ B> </ p>

‘s recruitment process for volunteer abroad is very selective. Sometimes it will be worse than a working one side constraints do not depend on what a person is able to do, but about how a person is. Besides flexibility, or the desire to go through a different experience, it is a challenge that must come up from within, from knowing that world (as adopted by a group of people) need help, but not necessarily a way which requires its transformation. That basically means that volunteers abroad is linked to personal and professional growth of a person as aspects of both personality and career can be developed.

When it comes to career concerns, a person who joins a volunteer abroad organization will engage more in projects that focus on specific disciplines or interests in relation to work in a domestic environment. This is especially the case when the choice is between jobs that are related to science, engineering or architecture. At this point the possibilities are even higher. A growth on a personal level is also expected when there is “no other experience better than volunteers abroad to be aware of your own boundaries and trying to go beyond them.

It is something that employers throughout the world want to avoid, as it represents a successful personal ability to take into account many things. When it comes to the requirements to start a work experience abroad, join teams of volunteers also deals with an accuracy to be dispersed until the technical equipment is available. This is particularly important when the team of volunteers arriving in the country. These technical aids are extremely important, especially when it comes to international communication.

It is somewhat rare to find an optimum working communication lines such places. Getting a prepaid phone card overseas students may not be enough for a volunteer environment, especially if the duration of this experience is not seasonal, but an experience that can last for many years. International volunteer abroad phone cards are supposed to include their prices and costs for additional services will operate on or with reference to the prepaid account.

The recharging is the first of these aforementioned services to be included, and perhaps the most important. Also in some situations, especially in a voluntary environment, with adequate coverage against any cut in the statement is conclusive. What is important at the time position for an international volunteer abroad phone cards are the package and to know under what conditions a person will go. You should also be aware of the many risks involved with the local telephone service. It could be inoperative, or the average unemployment rate may not be high. Such studies are also useful for a person to determine the rate of his purchase, when additional services such as fax mail, text messages or internet access added. </ P>
